Teen Services

Dianna LeightonThere’s plenty to explore in our teen library!

Check out

- The newest in young adult fiction, along with classics and your favorite series.

- Graphic novels, including popular manga series.

- Non-fiction resources, to help you learn a new skill, explore your options after high school, and answer all those tricky questions.

- Magazines, such as Rolling Stone, Seventeen, and Shonen Jump.

The teen library is a safe and welcoming place to read, catch up on homework, or just hang out with friends. Teens are also welcome to use any of the public computers located on the main floor, the Wii game system located in the children’s area, and free wireless access located throughout the building. Regular programs include Chess Club, volunteering opportunities, and a Teen Book Club that meets monthly at the library and through Facebook. You can also take a look at new releases, book reviews, and video book talks through our teen blog. Our Teen Librarian is always available to answer questions here at the library, as well as through e-mail, Facebook, and Twitter. She can also provide information on text reference services to keep you informed on-the-go!

Please see our Event Calendar for specific dates and times for all the library’s scheduled activities.
