DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Library on Tuesday\, August 9 at 6:00 PM – \nAmy Quan Barry\, award-winning author and poet\, and professor at UW-Madison\, will be speaking about her books When I’m Gone\, Look For Me in the East\, and We Ride Upon Sticks\, with a book signing to follow. \nBarry was born in Saigon and raised in Danvers\, Massachusetts\, where she played on the Danvers High School field hockey team in the late 1980s. \nThis event is part of the Northwoods Book Festival\, a joint project from seven libraries in northern Wisconsin.
