Knowledge at Noon – The Science of Hibernation

December 1, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us for “Science of Hibernation”, presented by Licia Johnson of North Lakeland Discovery Center.

Northern winters can be very harsh, especially for all the critters that call these places home. So, when the temperature drops, the lakes freeze, Northwoods animals take on the challenge in some pretty awesome ways, if they don’t just head south for the season. Join us to learn about the incredible adaptations that exist, especially in those that hibernate. Program held at the Presque Isle Community Center and hosted by Discover Center and Presque Isle Community Library.

Coffee and treats will be provided.

You are welcome to bring a lunch

This is a free program, but donations to North Lakeland Discovery Center are appreciated.
