Swimming elephants, fighting hippos, leopards, servals, lions and cubs, colorful birds. The African nation Botswana is known for its eco-tourism and wildlife. Its Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta contain the world’s largest population of elephants and many varieties of antelopes and predator cats, as well as a spectacular variety of tropical birds. Rob and Sally Pierce recently joined Pangolin Photo Safaris for two weeks photographing this wildlife in the Delta and the Chobe River. Their presentation will show Botswana’s animals and landscape as well as describe the fun and challenges of photographing them.
Rob and Sally have previously described their Antarctica adventures for a Presque Isle audience.
