February/March Art in the Library – Terry Daulton
In February & March, the Presque Isle Community Library features the scratchboard illustrations created by artist and environmental educator Terry Daulton for the book Wrong Tree: Adventures in Wildlife Biology.
A northland college alumnus, regionally known artist and environmental educator, Daulton created over 40 illustrations for the book. While mostly known for her pastel paintings, Daulton has also illustrated nature books by John Bates including River Life and Graced by the Seasons. This is her first book illustrated in scratchboard.
An artist reception & author talk, featuring both artist Terry Daulton and author Jeff Wilson, will be held in the Library on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 3:00pm.
