The Material Girls Quilters have been meeting at the Presque Isle Community Library on Monday for many years.

During the month of August, these gals have a wonderful exhibit of full-size quilts, table runners, wall hangings, and smaller items such as purses and potholders on display. Please stop in at the library to view these items. Some are for sale, with a percentage of proceeds going to the library.

The Material Girls have made and donated a quilt to be exhibited above the library front desk and sold via silent auction. The proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Library.

Also on display is a quilt by the late Marsha Rosenberg, a talented quilter and longtime library volunteer.

Join us at the library for an artist reception on Saturday, August 5 from 8:30 – 10:30am! There will be a casual reception with some of the quilters on hand to talk about their work. Refreshments will be provided.
